Here is the problem...
People who value exercise highly, tend to neglect other areas of their health and wellbeing. This leads to someone who might look healthy and fit on the outside, but they are unhealthy on the inside.
Nothing explains better than by telling you a story about when I started going to the gym. I was 17 or 18 and started by looking at bodybuilding.com. There I found lots of hints and tips to get started, in fact I actually had a few friends who were on the same journey at the same time. So naturally we all started going to the gym together… One thing led to another and all of a sudden we were buying supplement after supplement, trying every pre-workout for the best pump and just going bananas with any sort of workout chemical we could find. We were even mixing different pre-workouts for the ultimate pump! However I was still overweight, still couldn’t squat for shit and was still unhealthy. This pattern continued until I was 22. I thought I was doing all the right things, in fact everyone else at the gym was doing all these things to therefore I must have been correct? I was confused, in fact whenever I asked for help I just got conflicting information.
Finally one day I had enough. I decided it was time to put my money where my mouth is and invest my time money and energy into finding the answers out for myself. What I learned shocked me.
The fitness industry is very one eyed and everyone follows the same rules, creating very strong beliefs that have been passed down over the last 50 years.
Lets use consumption of post workout nutrition as an example. Most people you meet, who are fit will tell you, ‘eating in the first hour post workout is essential to optimise recovery’. These strong beliefs create camps of people who than disagree with each other and cause confusion among the community.
Luckily I have been able to connect the dots and provide you with an integrative approach that works for the rest of your life and eliminates confusion by using simple easy to follow logic.

After moving to the Coffs Coast 12 months ago, Ben became inspired by the active nature of Crossfitters in the area. This led to frustration by the lack of specialist physio care in the area for these people. Because of this, Ben now works exclusively with active people over 30 who are looking for something different. Ben is someone who is unsatisfied with traditional approaches and used this thinking to create the only business in the Mid North Coast that specialises in helping people like you.
